I have two studios in Durango. One is my Recording Studio and the other is my Teaching Studio.

Recording Studio

I have operated the Mr. Moon Music recording studio for over twelve years. It is a small, professional quality facility here in Durango. The facility uses Digital Performer software and has full midi and analog capabilities. There is also a grand piano in the studio.

I have engineered, produced and/or performed on many recording projects of my own as well as work of, to name a few: original folk-rock byThe Lindells, classical guitar by Andrew Daniel, world beat music by Kulu, and a 7-disc set of music instruction cd’s for Ron Greene, for which I composed and recorded all of the play-along music.

I am currently enjoying a project for Thierry Moulton, a singer-songwriter who sings all his songs in French. On these recordings I am playing keyboard and co-producing the music.

Teaching Studio

I teach piano at the Smiley Building, here in Durango. From my window in this wonderful community building, I have a glorious view of the La Plata Mountains. I have taught for over twenty five years and still enjoy it.

My main goal in teaching is to help students of all ages realize that piano and music is a fun and life-long resource. Playing piano is also quite challenging, and for this reason, we focus on direction and music that is chosen by the student. I see my role mostly as "coach", and I let the student guide the way through this rewarding world of piano music.
