Lawrence Nass has three recordings of his original compositions. Two, Another Day and Opening Presence, are solo improvisational works and the third, Mr. Moon, is composed, using many of L.A.'s top studio musicians.
Currently, I am working on a documentary film about the life and work of Stanton Englehart. Stanton is an educator and prolific painter here in Durango, CO. While composing, I sit in front of one of his masterly works, which I have in my home, and listen for the music.
Everyday is an opportunity

Mr. Moon is a recording I did in the 90’s that took two years to compose involving about a dozen of L.A.’s top studio players. It has strings, horns, flutes, percussion and other sounds. I still enjoy the chamber music quality that was given to these melodic, original, soft-jazz pieces.
